Just doodeling today!

I didn't have a lot of time to scrap today so I made a quick doodle to share. It's Monday and as usual, I'm super busy! I've got this art project on my brain these days...I want to go to a vineyard and take some pics and turn them into a design for this big, blank wall in my kitchen. So, I've been playing with different grape themes while I try to get a better idea of what I want to do.

Curled Page Action

Today I was practicing my Photoshop skills by working through random tutorials online and I ran across this cool action that curls the edge of your paper! I liked it so much that I immediately used it to scrap this picture of my niece. I think it really gives this page that little something extra special.

I love this photo of SD's pretty cousin with all that gorgeous sunshine on her face. I just had to scrap it in the pretty spring colors. We enjoyed a sunny Easter Sunday yesterday. SD's family had a BBQ complete with egg hunt and cascarones. So today I felt inspired to scrap something in pastels. :o)

Who is that cute little girl?

Oh, wait a minute...that's me! He he. I found this picture today and just couldn't resist scrapping it. I was feeling so nostalgic! Or perhaps it's all the homework I have due that's reminding me of a time when I was young? No, it's probably that I just wanted an excuse not to read 50+ pages of homework tonight!

A Little Luck Goes a Long Way!

Wow! I’ve been so busy these past few days. I've been working with the site admin at scrapper's zone to get my files uploaded so I can start selling my digiscrap kits, I've also been working like mad to scrap a couple pages with each of my kits so I'll be able to post some examples. Here are a couple pages made with my “a bit o’ luck” kit. My nephew, Kristian, loves to play baseball but sometimes he gets a little bored - I thought these pics of him were too cute not to share!

Additionally, I've started school this week. I earned an associates degree a few years ago but with the wedding, house buying and my dad's illness, time just flew by and now it's finally time to finish! Wish me luck - I am going to be constantly busy girl. :o)

Austin Page 2

So, while I am still getting everything ready for the new store - who knew it would be so complicated? So, I thought I would post a new scrapped page today - I know I have a lot of daily visitors who are disappointed that I haven't been posting as often.

Check out my new blinkie! Isn't it exciting?? I know I haven't posted in a whole week and I'm sorry but I've got a great excuse. I've been crazy busy getting ready to open a store at Scrapper's Zone to sell my digiscrap designs. As soon as I have everything loaded and ready to go, I'll let you all know!
